Work-based Learning (WBL) Seminar replaces PaCE 1 and PaCE 2. The program offers high school students the opportunity to develop skills necessary to be successful in a paid, unpaid or volunteer experience. This course will help students build and enhance their workforce ready skills which include communication, problem-solving, collaboration, interpersonal, self-management, and organizational skills. Students may select the level of involvement based on the time they wish to commit their school schedule and their desire for a paid or unpaid experience. Students receive 1 credit for every 15 hours of work/volunteer experience with a maximum of 5 credits per quarter and a maximum of 45 overall credits. Summer opportunities are available.
